Why is such dangerous force necessary here?
1. Speeding, is not a criminal offense.
2. Refusal to sign a ticket, is not a criminal offense.
3. Profanity, is not a criminal offense.
4. Being angry after being violently shoved around, is not a criminal offense.
This lady had no reason at all to be threatened with arrest...and when she was, she agreed to sign the ticket. But NO! The cop insisted on escalating the tension anway, instead of trying to calm down this understandably upset woman.
I wonder how cops handled spunky-old great-grandmas before they carried Tazers?
