@jasperpd203 Saying that using a taser on a person is the same as using pepper spray is total bullshit. Generally, pepper spray doesn't have the capability of sending a person into cardiac arrest like a taser can and has been proved to do. Case in point the immigrant who died after been tasered at Vancouver airport.
What the hell has happened to Texas. That was the last state to have balls. Now they're using tasers too. Texas coops aren't supposed to use tasers. They're supposed to use guns. Its a crying shame.

The proper use of a Taser device. People the taser device in this situation was used proper hears what people are missing when the Police tells you to do something do it. You dont fight with the police on the side of the road. He gave her command after command to do the right thing she did what she did. The Taser device is not used in the place of a firearm if you can a draw a firearm than thats what you draw not a Taser device. Taser is a less lethal device the same as pepper spray. REALLY!!!!
she got 40k for this. Tasers should be used in the place of firearms when it is deemed possible that stopping a suspect by force is necessary but a firearm is not necessary. The tax payers of this county are paying for the fact that a deputy didn't want to use the proper methods to subdue a non threatning suspect. Perhaps the people that pay these settlements (taxpayers) should insist on the proper use of tasers.
