Taser and a stun gun are two different things. A taser uses some explosives to start the electricity and a stun gun is all electricity. And the thing he was hit with is a taser gun

Are tazers reusable? I know that "stun guns" are but once the tazer shoots those wires out are they reusable again. Also ae they legal in the US?

ok to set somethin straight...the 50kv is just the first stage, the arc, to get through clothing, to make the electrical connection. the second stage is what kicks your ass, it's somewhere around 400 volts. the 400 carries more current than the initial 50kv. still nasty gettin hit with one.
