Austin PD gets away with what they want. This cop had a blood sugar problem. Typical police brutality.

Cpl Thomas O'Connor needed to be a late term abortion. It seems that anyone with a low IQ can be a cop. Intelligent people need not apply. It is true, police academies do not want intelligent people in the ranks of police departments.

Also applies when not getting your license he could going for a gun, not good to just drag him out due to traffic, fighting in traffic is not fun or safe. and if the driver was just being difficult I bet the next time hes told to get something he will think twice . and save himself and not keep the cop in danger (the longer your at the car next to the road the higher chance of getting hit by a car).

@Preskoolz sorry but that don't work . someone who is refusing to get out of the car is not worried about getting a misdemeanor charge for willfully disobeying a direct and lawful order. Plus you never know why people don't want to get out (waiting for a buddy to show up, getting a gun , sitting on weapons or drugs and if they move they will be seen. AND YES A TASER IS ALSO USED FOR COMPLIANCE IF THEY HAVE A GUN GUESS WHAT THE COP DOES TOO AND CAN SHOOT THEM. hint (LESS-THAN-LEATHAL)

motorist need to learn how to comply and follow orders as opposed to thinking that the officer is there for there convience. Follow direction and situations like this are avoided.. the officer is not just some guy as he was referred to, the motorist should have listen to the officer and not the other person. this officer is working solo and during a car stop tensions are always high. just comply instead of running off at the mouth....

The guy could of hit his head on the ground and died , not a direct death do to the taser but because he cracked his head on the ground . In your world that makes it OK? The use of a taser on a Unarmed person is not for compliance . This could of been handled better with warning him with more charges if he he still refuses not to give his license . IMHO abuse of power .

@RSRNV wow I dare u 2 fucking use that... prison here you go! have fun! And I'm not asking you to respect them... u don't know wat they go through and u don't know what they deal with... when u can truly say you've been in a police officer's shoes u wouldn't be saying a thing! And as far as u talking about my dad... u don't know me or him... he hasn't laid a hand on someone in like 10 years! He talks situations down u dnt believe me fine... but u don't know me!

I cant help but to respond, 1 a taser is not only for people who are fighting its also for compliance 2 did you not hear the driver say no he wasnt getting his stuff. 3 all the "deaths" caused by a taser are not proven caused by the taser just an incident where a taser was used. kinda like a driver drinking a soda they wreck and die the soda wasnt the fault but it could have contributed as far as taking the drivers eyes off the road and also if you look alittle further into the deaths

70 in a 65? WTF.

With all the dumb fucks in law enforcement nowadays, giving a cop a taser is like giving a toddler a box of matches. Sooner or later, someone's gonna get burned.
